One of our clients wanted some advice on his situation.
He had had a difficult childhood with his parents both being poor care givers, they loved him but did not say it. His parents wanted to make all the decisions and he was not allowed to express his own feelings. For much of his life he had thought of others and always made the time to help those less fortunate. He was now exhausted and needed some advice.
I suggested that it was time to look inward, he agreed that he had focussed outward and on others so that he did not need to look at his true feelings and the pain and hurt that he felt. I recommended that he take Inner Child, take the time to appreciate all he had done, to love and cherish himself. If he was up to it to find someone that he could talk to about his childhood.
